Car batteries can also be recycled by Surrey County Council. Please take them to your local community recycling centre and place them in the allocated bay.
![]() | These can not currently be recycled by Surrey County Council and should not be placed in the dustbin if at all possible. You could try contacting the suppliers of the battery for information on take back schemes or why not look up whether a charity of your choice if offering a freepost recycling scheme such as Help the Aged.
