Council tax banding appeals


You can only appeal against the council tax band your house is in if:

You should not appeal to the Council. You should contact the Listing Officer at The Valuation Office, Betchworth House, 57 - 65 Station Road, Redhill, Surrey RH1 1BQ or phone 01737 754000.

You must pay the council tax based on the present valuation band until the Listing Officer decides whether or not to change the band of your home. We will send you a refund if your appeal is successful.
