



The East Surrey Strategic Housing Market Assessment 2008 carried out in 2007 identified a housing market crossing the local authority boundaries of Epsom & Ewell, Mole Valley, Reigate & Banstead and Tandridge councils
The four local authorities in East Surrey have joined forces to produce the East Surrey Housing Strategy (ESHS).

The authorities have consulted with a range of groups on the detail and the principles of the strategy, which will be considered along with the reults of the survey when we prepare the next draft. The largest of these was held in Dorking on 12th December. This event was attended by represntatives from many organisations including housing providers, developers, support agencies and residents.The event was facilitated by the Improvement and Development Agency for local government (IDeA).
