What are housing associations?
Housing associations are non-profit making organisations, which provide homes for people in housing need. They are also known as Registered Social Landlords (RSLs).The type of accommodation provided ranges from houses and flats, to specially built accommodation for the older and disabled people. Most properties are available for rent to applicants on the Council's Housing Needs Register.

Tandridge District Council works in partnership with a number of Housing Associations to provide accommodation within the District at affordable rents. They operate in very much the same way as the Council and if you are accepted onto the Council's Housing Register you may be offered a Housing Association property.
