Fee information

BC Scale of Charges from 1 April 2010 (from 1 April 2010)

There are two main types of application, however the total fee payable for either type of application is the same.

• Full Plans Application - The plan fee is payable when submitting the application and then an inspection fee is payable once we have carried out your first inspection on site.
• Building Notice Application - The Building Notice fee is payable in full at the time you deposit your application.

Please note that some works for disabled people are exempt from charges. Please refer to Building Control if you are unsure whether this is applicable to your application.

If you are an architect or agent who regularly submits applications to us and would like us to send you a laminated copy of our fee schedule please contact building control at the email address below.
