A charge is payable when submitting a full plans application. An inspection charge is payable once the work is started.
The Building notice charge is payable in full at the time you deposit the application. (You can use the fee calculator link in the menu to the left to self-estimate your application fee.)
Some works for disabled people are exempt from charges.
