All Land Charges are subject to the national 10 day turnaround indicator. This requires that all valid standard searches should be returned within 10 days.
A standard search does not have any additional questions or require an enhanced service. A valid search is one where the fee is correct and all necessary information required has been provided.
In this context our aim is to return all valid searches within 10 days. Turnaround will depend upon whether the site has been previously searched, the number of additional questions and how quickly our consultees respond to our questions.
We intend to improve turnaround to one day.
