The majority of planning applications are dealt with by planning officers under delegated powers and so do not go to the Council's Development Control Committee. For more information you should view the planning documents and decision notice and read the officers report to find out the reason (s) for the decision, all of which are available via Search for a planning application

Making or responding to an appeal
All appeal documents are available for inpection in the Council offices but are not yet available in Planning Interactive apart from the decision letter.
All appeal comments received will be treated as public documents and will also be available for public inspection. They will be scanned into our Planning Interactive records but certain personal details , such as your private telephone number, e-mail address and signature will be removed if these records are subsequently published. However, if your comments do not include your name and address they will be treated as anonymous and given little weight in coming to any decision.
